Many fans consider Deep Space Nine (DS9) to be Star Trek at its very best. Sadly, it is overshadowed by its predecessor (TNG) in the public mind, and may never get its due.
The acclaimed documentary, “What We Left Behind – Looking Back at Star Trek: Deep Space Nine,” is designed to shake off those notions. Starring and directed by Ira Steven Behr, DS9 showrunner and author of 53 episodes in total, the film features interviews with cast members, producers and many others who were involved in the production.
If you consider yourself a Trek and a Deep Space Nine fan, you owe it to yourself to watch this full-length film, streaming for free on the TUBI network.
The show even details an episode which could have been used on an eighth season of DS9 (which did not happen, as DS9 ended after seven).
More details on the film are available at its official website.
